03-Jan 2026: The U.S. conducted a large-scale attack on Venezuela similar to the invasion of Panama in 1989. The 2026 attack captured the leader of Venezuela and his wife and flew them out of the country. 

We are not going to write about the details of the attack, as that will be poured over elsewhere. The United States attacking another third-world country over energy resources is no longer an interesting topic. Venezuela would have zero strategic significance were it not for having the largest oil reserves in the world.
